TROOP MEETING
Thursday, February 9 @ 7:00 PM. Scouts will continue advancement.
Sign-ups and $20.00 due for February's Survivor camping trip if you
haven't already done so. We'll also coordinate the Pancake
Breakfast. Turn in your $60+ for pre-sold Pancake Breakfast tickets.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Saturday, February 11. Tickets have been distributed. Please print
and sell to your family, friends and neighbors. All Scouts, regardless
of age or activity, are expected to sell at least one full sheet. Turn in
your $60 (or more if you pre-sell more than one sheet) at the
February 9 troop meeting. Scouts who pre-sell a full sheet, turn their
money in on February 9, and work a shift at the breakfast eat for free.
We'll have some tickets to distribute this week. Cost is only $5.00 per
ticket. This week Scouts will sign up to work either the 7AM-10AM
shift, 10AM-1PM shift, or both shifts. All troop members are expected
to sell and to work.

NENTEGO LODGE BANQUET
Saturday, February 11 at the Sheraton Dover. Doors open at 5:15 PM
and the banquet begins at 6:00 PM.
Register online by January 31 to
avoid a $5.00 late fee at .

CAMPING (SURVIVOR)
Febraury 17-19 at Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation. $20.00
due at the February 2 troop meeting. Scouts will camp in a cabin and
take part in patrol and individual competitions based on Scout skills
and knowledge. The sole Survivor will receive a monetary prize to be
awarded at the June Court of Honor.

MERIT BADGE COLLEGE DAY 2
Saturday, February 25 from 8AM until 4PM – Scouts must attend both
dates! At Alfred Waters Middle School (1235 Cedar Lane Rd.,
Middletown, DE). Attend in complete uniform, bring a notebook and
pen(cil), and complete all prerequisites and homework. Click

during the day. Please let Adrienne Roberto know this Thursday if
you're available to drive to and/or from or to stay for all or part of either
day.

AAUW BOOK SALE
Wednesday, February 29 at 5:15 PM at Concord Mall. Scouts will
deliver books to sales tables around the mall. Then on Sunday,
March 4 Scouts will help take down the sale and cart unsold books
back to the truck. Sign up at February 23 and March 1 troop meetings.

GROTTO PIZZA FUNDRAISER
Wednesday, February 29 from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. When this voucher  
is presented at the time of order at Grotto Pizza in Fairfax, an amount
equal to 20% of the total bill will be donated to Troop 70. Please
share the voucher with your family, friends and neighbors.

SUMMER CAMP 2012
August 5-11 at Rodney Scout Reservation. Non-refundable deposits
in the amount of $50.00 were due last week, but turn in yours this
week if you'd like to go as there may be space available. The balance
of $295.00 is due at the April 26 troop meeting. If you pay after April
26 then the balance due increases to $320.00.

2013 NATIONAL SCOUT JAMBOREE
Registration for the 2013 National Jamboree is now open! July 15,
2013 is the beginning of the first ever National Scout Jamboree at
The Summit in West Virginia. All Scouts and Adults who will be 12
years old by July 15, 2013 are invited to apply now. The registration
process begins by creating a
Summit Account on the The Summit
national webpage. Once your Summit Account has been created,
and your participation approved, you must log onto the Del-Mar-Va
Council website and create a
National Jamboree Event Registration
from which to pay for your adventure and receive all of the information
necessary for this mountain top – literally – experience! Activity
highlights at the new site include white water rafting, mountain
rappelling, mountain biking, rifle and even pistol shooting for
Venturers! Del-Mar-Va Council will be sending five troops of 36
Scouts each and a crew of 10 Venturers! The full Del-Mar-Va Council
participant fee is $1400 with three opportunities for early bird
payments. The fully discounted fee if all early bird payments are on
