Congratulations to Jack Neff!
Jack passed his Eagle Board of Review last night. He'll be awarded the badge at a Court of Honor in the coming months.

No Troop Meetings during Summer!
I've been asked about this over the past couple weeks, and just want to remind everyone that, other than the pre-Summer Camp meeting, we do not have troop meetings during the summer. We'll have our annual planning session in late August and resume troop meetings in September. We may schedule troop activities, though, if opportunities arise.

Troop T-Shirts
Order forms were due on May 29! If you didn't get yours in please contact Matt Bib to add on your oder. Remember, all Scouts and leaders attending summer camp should have at least one t-shirt!

Troop Leadership Training
I’d like to schedule a day to conduct Troop Leadership Training over the summer. This would ideally be on a Saturday, and will take 3-4 hours. Please let me know your (or if a parent, your son’s) availability for Saturday, July 12 and July 19 (or vacation plans in general) so that I can schedule for the maximum attendance. It's essential that our new leaders are trained before summer camp. Thanks.

Summer Camp 2008
August 10-16 @ Rodney Scout Reservation. All Scouts should have sent their session schedules in by now and should have made arrangements to provide their updated medical forms, which are due at the pre-camp meeting on July 31 at 7:00 PM. In the meantime, Scouts should be working on prerequisites for the badges they'll be working on. For complete details click here.

Florida Sea Base 2009
Just a reminder that a spot is available for any eligible Scout or adult; let me know if interested. The next payment of $300.00 is due by the end of June in order to secure airline tickets. If you did not turn in your $300 already please mail your check to Mr. Jamie King (9 Pelham Road; Wilmington, DE 19803) within the next two weeks.

Lastly...
I'll be at George Washington & Jefferson National Forests in Virginia from June 21-28 as part of ArrowCorps5, a national service initiative between the Order of the Arrow and the U.S. Forest Service. Please contact me before Friday if you have any Scouting questions or concerns, otherwise I'll address any e-mails or phone calls when I return.
