Troop Activity Shirts
Our official troop t-shirts are now on sale! All
Scouts and leaders should have at least one, especially if attending high
adventure or summer camp. Don't forget, you can also order long-sleeve shirts
and hooded sweatshirts! Order forms can be downloaded here and
are due on May 17.
Troop Meeting
Thursday @ 7:00 PM. Patrols will begin planning May's camping activity, for
which $20.00 cash is due this week. Scouts will continue working in their
groups: lower rank advancement, advanced skills, and Junior Leader Training.
Order of the Arrow
April 27-29 @ Henson Scout Reservation. OA members may
register and pay dues online at www.nentego.org.
New Ordeal candidates must register using the form they have received (or will
be receiving) in the mail.
Troop Committee Meeting
The April 1 meeting was canceled due to poor
attendance and has been rescheduled for April 29 at 7:00 PM. Additionally, this
means we will not have a Troop Committee Meeting in May. Inactive parents are
encouraged to attend as adult participation is necessary in order for the troop
to function. Please come see how you can be of help.
May Camping Activity
May 4-6 @ French Creek State Park. $20.00 cash due April
19. Scouts and adults will spend Saturday competing in
age/rank/experience appropriate orienteering competitions. Please register on
time to ensure your participation.
Maine High Adventure
$250.00 balances are due next week, April 26. And don't forget to schedule
a physical examination with your doctor if you need one for either activity.
MHA participants must also plan on attending June's canoeing weekend.
Summer Camp 2007
$240.00 balances are due next week, April 26. The total due increases to
$265.00 if not paid next week. Also, be sure to reply to my e-mail from earlier
this week requesting early merit badge and specialty program sign-ups. And
don't forget to schedule a physical examination with your doctor if you need
one for either activity. Lastly, we can still use another adult or two during
the week. Please let Matt Bib know if you're available for even just half the
week.
